Crownwize Consulting Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Client engagement data

Once you become a client, we collect name, address, contact details, National Insurance number, UTR, bank details, anti-money laundering documents and financial records, in order to provide our services and comply with legal obligations including anti-money laundering and HMRC requirements.

Website enquiry data

The contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, business type, the service you're interested in, and your message. This is sent to us by email, using our email delivery provider, Resend, and used only to respond to your enquiry.

Reviews

The reviews form collects your name, business type, star rating and review text — we do not ask for your email address. Submissions are stored in our content management platform, Sanity, and checked by us before publishing. If approved, your name, business type and review text are displayed publicly on our Reviews page. You can ask us to remove a published review, or withdraw an unpublished one, at any time.

Other processors

Resend and Sanity process data on our behalf and may store or process it outside the UK; both maintain their own security and compliance safeguards for doing so. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, and do not use it for marketing without your consent.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries and reviews are kept for as long as needed to respond to you or display your review, and removed on request. Client accounting and tax records are retained for the period required by law — normally at least 6 years.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, and to correct, restrict or delete it. Contact us at info@crownwizeconsult.co.uk.

We use cookies to improve performance and security. Cookies help us understand visitor usage and maintain site functionality. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal or financial data. Contact and review form submissions are sent from our own server, not directly from your browser, so filling them in does not set any third-party cookies. Continued use of this website indicates acceptance of our cookies policy.

All client information is treated as strictly confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without consent unless required by law.

Anti-money laundering

We comply with the UK Money Laundering Regulations. We are required to verify identity, obtain proof of address, and report suspicious transactions. Failure to provide anti-money laundering documentation may prevent us from acting for a client.

If you are dissatisfied, please contact us in writing. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 14 working days. If the matter remains unresolved, we will advise on escalation to an appropriate external body.
